Our Club

Lymington Amateur Rowing Club was established in 1881. Our clubhouse can be found on the corner of Quay Road in Lymington. The club has and always will promote the fun & social side of the sport as well as the serious aspect of competitive rowing.

If you would like to try rowing for a bit of fun or if you are an established rower wishing to train hard please get in touch, join up now or come along to the club house, we are looking forward to seeing you.

    May Update

Now the election is over (I think), I can tell you that we have got a grant from Sport England for £6.963 towards a new Coastal Four and 4 Blades.

    • Our Website has now been changed and updated.  It will now be updated regularly with regatta reports, news and photos.  If you have anything to add to it, e-mail Mike on mrmikelj@hotmail.com
    • The regatta season starts today (Coalporters), with a further 4 regattas in May.  Check the website for dates & results.
    • Milford regatta is on Saturday 22 May.  Any help with the regatta would be much appreciated.  In particular I am looking for people to man the food tent, and to drive the safety boats (RYA Powerboat level 2 or above)
    • We are looking for people to sponsor races (£30 for a fours race, £20 for pairs & £10 for sculls).  Contact me or Tim by Monday.
    • Please let me know if you have first aid, or powerboat qualifications so I can keep records up to date.
