Our Club

Lymington Amateur Rowing Club was established in 1881. Our clubhouse can be found on the corner of Quay Road in Lymington. The club has and always will promote the fun & social side of the sport as well as the serious aspect of competitive rowing.

If you would like to try rowing for a bit of fun or if you are an established rower wishing to train hard please get in touch, join up now or come along to the club house, we are looking forward to seeing you.

Introduction to Rowing on Sundays stopped for Summer

Lymington Rowing club has been actively investing in the growth of all aspects of the club, which has lead to a number of successful seasons and a large increase in subscription. This has however led to a wonderful problem!  We are now operating at the clubs capacity.   Meaning that for the near future the club is unable to welcome people who are looking to take up rowing for the first time.  Regrettably, this means that Sunday mornings introduction to rowing will be stopped until further notice.

If you are however still interested in learning the sport please email the captain Mr Peter Lock through the web site and he will put you on a waiting list and will contact as soon as places become available.  You can also visit the British Rowing web site where there are a number of resources you may find of interest.

As we have always done the club is still accepting experience men and women who have rowed recently or who are returning from university for the summer and wish to keep there fitness up.  Please contact the captain Mr Peter Lock for more information.
