Circuit Training starts on Wednesday 4th January at 6:30pm, Priestlands School Gym (Not the recreation centre). It will cost £2.50 for adults and £1.50 for Juniors & Students.
Sessions will last about 1 hour, all members (and non members) are welcome.

The new year is approaching us fast and that can mean only one thing, yes Circuits are starting again. The first one will be on Wednesday 4th January 6:30pm start.
It is a great way to start off the new year, whether that is losing a bit of weight, getting a bit fitter or part of a more comprehensive training programme.
All are welcome from juniors to veterans, friends, partners and family.
For those of you who have not been before, it is important try and make the first one as this will make things much easier for weeks to follow.

The party is at Lanes in Lymington, where it has been for the past few years and it is always a great night, we have the whole restaurant to ourselves as well as amazing food and a cheesey disco! It is on Friday 23rd December at 7:30pm and it is £26.50 pp (Money in no later than 26th November).

The AGM is on Friday 14th October at 7:30pm. This is where we vote for the Committee for the next year. We also vote on the membership fees for 2012. All members are entitled to attend and to vote. Currently no one is standing for Vice Captain or Junior representative.
The Vice Captain assists the Captain in the day to day running of the club. They also stand in as Captain if the captain is away, particularly at regattas where the Captain or Vice Captain have various duties. These include Boat Loading on Friday, Late Entries & Scratchings on Saturday mornings, and then making sure that the right crews get on the water at the right times, through to getting the boats back onto the trailer and back to the club.
The Junior Representative should be under 18 years old (At the AGM) and can bring any issues or problems from the Junior members of the club to the committee. If they have anything to bring to a committee meeting this can be done at the beginning of the meeting, so they can get away early. It is also a useful thing to put on your UCAS personal statement.
The Club Regatta is on Saturday 15th October. This is a fun event held in the Lymington River. Crews are mixed with everyone from Novice to Senior, J15 to Veteran 50 in the same crew. The course is about 300m from the Barrier to the Yacht Club. Registration is at 1:30pm with racing due to start at 3pm. There will be food afterwards and a party in the evening.
The Christmas Party is on Friday 23rd December at Lanes Restaurant. Tickets are £26.50. List and menu on the board at the club.
The last race of the season the club travelled to Dorney Lake to compete in 55th South Coast Rowing Championships. This event is the best of the best race where competitors come from all over the south of England to compete on the 2012 Olympic rowing course.
Two crews competed in the Championship races and four crews in the Open events, where all events take place in coxed fours.
The Junior Senior crew of Jonny Prince, Luke Corbridge, Geoff Fryer, James Phillips & Cox Joe Bull performed well but were just off the pace on the day to come second by a boat length.
The Veteran 40 crew of Alan Taylor, Ken Chalk, Mark Tremain Tim Bull & Cox George Grisley had possibly their best race of the season only to be beaten by a canvas by Folkstone, but performed well enough to beat the Hants & Dorset Champions BTC .
Lymington had two Men's Novice crews that both won there heats well to qualify for the final. The A crew had the better start but the B crew of George Verdon, Richard Wadsworth, Sam Ayles, James Stephenson and cox Laura Lock got into there stride and took the lead at the half way mark. They held onto that lead to the finish strongly after a final push from Plymouth made a close half length victory. The A crew of Liam Webb, Jeremy Baker, Jonny Clark, Joe Bull and cox George Grisley came third after rowing through an older and bigger Westover crew in the last 250 meters.
The Veteran 50 crew of Terry Woolford, Brian Oliver, Simon Wright, Brian Goodall & Cox Daisy Bradford were under pressure to perform well as they were defending their title for the third time.
After a false start due to Shoreham jumping the gun. Lymington were in third position up to the 750 meter but managed to shake off Dover by 1000 meters, by 1250 meter were level with Shoreham after a well drilled race plan, at 1750 meters were passing Shoreham with every stroke to win by two lengths at the line.
The Ladies Junior crew of Anna Binley, Emily Batt, Livvi Bull & Cox Laura Lock qualified for the Final but were just off the pace on the day. Ryan Chalk competed in the Junior Regatta that was held in the morning in a single scull gaining some valuable experience in his first Race.
After adding up all results during the day Lymington came runners up in the aggregate cup which no mean feet considering it is out of 35 clubs their on the day.
]]>If so Lymington Rowing Club is running a Learn to Row Course from Sunday 25 September till Sunday 30th October. The course will take the form of 6 two hour sessions on Sunday mornings (10am - 12:00). The course is aimed at total beginners, but those with some experience may benefit too. The minimum age is 14 and there are only 16 places available.
The cost of the course is £40 for the six weeks and is deductible from the Clubs full membership should you wish to join on completing the course.
